You might be wondering what on earth this website is about, but don’t you worry, I’ve got that covered in the About section of this site. You can also find out more about me there too.
To summarise, I’m Michael and I work for a large technology company. I currently manage a test team working on an identity platform which our customers use to log into many of our products and services with. It’s a job which I love in a niche which I love. I’ve been testing software and services for over a decade and I’ve learned a lot but also made a lot of mistakes over the years too. That’s where this blog comes in – it’s going to be my way of giving back to the testing community to help others make a success of their testing careers (hopefully without making the mistakes I’ve made along the way).
I’ll be telling you about manual testing, security testing, performance testing, automation testing… you name it. If it’s testing related then I’m probably going to be covering it here at some point. We’ll have guides, opinions, reviews – all of the things you’d expect to see on a site dedicated to testing. Hopefully we’ll also have some great in-depth tutorials for you to follow along with, to help build up your skills. If nothing else, I just hope you learn something new.
